Atlantic Medical Group was formed in April 2021 following the merger of the Alverton Practice and Cape Cornwall Surgery.  Atlantic Medical Group will continue to deliver high quality health care services at St Clare Medical Centre in Penzance, Cape Cornwall Surgery in St Just and at the Newlyn Surgery.  Patients will have the choice to see a clinician at the any of these sites.

Atlantic Medical Group is accredited by the Royal College of General Practitioners as one which specialises in the care of military veterans and their families. The team are aware of the care needs of military veterans and their families. If recent events have affected you and you wish to seek help, please come forward.

Due to staff crisis at our local hospitals, Atlantic Medical Group will be open from 9-12 this Saturday and Sunday

Due to limited staff this will be at St Clare Medical Centre only. If you have a medical emergency please continue to call 999. If you have an urgent medical issue please call the normal surgery number 01736 363741 or 01736 788306 or drop in between 9-12. After 12 noon each day please revert back to calling 111 for any medical issues.

Spring Covid Booster 2023

Spring boosters launched for over 75s and immunosuppressed

Spring COVID-19 booster vaccinations are now available and people aged 75 years or over and those over the age of 5 with a weakened immune system are urged to book their booster via the NHS app, on the NHS website or by calling 119 for free. Health professionals warn that protection from vaccination or previous infection fades over time and older people and those with a weakened immune system are at serious risk of severe illness and being hospitalised if they catch COVID so it’s essential that those eligible for a spring booster book their vaccination as soon as possible
