Important notice regarding the Car Park at St Clare Medical Centre

We are pleased to confirm that the repairs to the car park at St Clare Medical Centre are set to be completed this weekend. The car park will re-open on Tuesday 27th August as planned, although some sections will be closed during the morning to allow carpark markings to be applied. Thank you for your patience over the past 3 weeks – We hope that the renewed parking will make the centre even more accessible.

Thank-you.

Goodbye Tracey Hembrough, you will be greatly missed!

It is with great sadness that after 30 years practicing at Alverton Surgery and latterly Atlantic Medical, Tracey Hembrough is retiring as a partner on 30th August 2024.

As well as giving exemplary care to patients over those years she has also been a great friend and support to all her colleagues and staff.
Her dedication to the practice shows no bounds and she was one of a team that built the St Clare Medical Centre. She was also instrumental in securing the future of Cape Cornwall Surgery.

Tracey has helped Atlantic innovate and has been a key player in Clinical Research within the practice. She has also had a significant role in delivering Covid Vaccines across the county of Cornwall and latterly providing access to antiviral drugs across Cornwall to patients suffering with Covid.

She will be greatly missed by patients and staff.

Information for the School Holidays

If you're visiting Cornwall this half term and you need to speak to a GP, please contact your own surgery first.

They are used to helping by phone. If you need a prescription, your surgery can send it to any pharmacy you choose, for you to collect close to where you are staying.

A BIG THANK YOU!

Atlantic Medical Group would like to say a huge thank you as we have recently received two new defibrillators which were donated by The Douglas Woolcock Foundation Trust. The surgery is extremely grateful for this useful and much needed equipment.
